The Rodeo trailer is ready to hawk t-shirts to adoring fish fans from around the nation.
As I sit here in the Rodeo office, now located down in the trailer next to AJ’s, it’s less than 24 hours until the first fish is weighed in for the 2009 Destin Fishing Rodeo.
The T-shirt trailor is in place and loaded with T-shirts, short and long-sleeve, visors, slickers, caps, kid’s shirts - you name it - they’ve got it. The trailor will be open for business first thing in the morning. As a matter of fact a few folks were trying to get in the side door just a few minutes ago to try and purchase something.
The bleachers are ready and waiting. The leaderboard has yet to be put on the side board, but it will be in place later today.
All we need now is for 10 a.m. to get here tomorrow, so we can weigh the first fish.
