Rich Krivan landed a 6.8-pound triggerfish for a Rodeo leader.
“It wasn’t bad out this morning,” Capt. Cox said. “But it’s getting choppy now.”
Eight-year-old Cadiz Cantwell, also fishing with Capt. Cox, weighed in a remora for a certificate and rod and reel. A remora, also known as a sharksucker, is kind of strange looking. It has a little suction cup thing on its head where it attaches itself to shark and other fish.

Cadiz Cantwell holds up a remora she caught aboard the Sweet Jody.
